The Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream by Youth To The People works wonders for your skin.
About Youth To The People
The popular skincare brand, Youth To The People, was founded by two brothers, Greg and Joe. They learned about skincare from their grandmother, who sparked their interest in skincare. This eventually led to the creation of their own skincare products.
They are also sustainable, through their formulas as well as their packaging. Youth To The People only uses glass for their bottles and jars for every product they sell. This helps reduce the quantity of plastic waste created by the beauty industry.
The brand has recently chosen to partner with Heinz for their newest launches. Heinz, a glass manufacturer from Germany, has been committed to sustainable business practices since 1622.
They only use post-consumer materials and recyclable paper from their manufacturing partner, Neenah, an FSC-certified mill in Wisconsin. This partner helps reduce landfill dependency and deforestation rates. Their FSC-certified printing press, Calitho, continues their commitment to manufacture locally and use paper from responsible sources.
Youth To The People also formulates all of their products in California, sourcing any extracts from local suppliers when possible. Every formula is vegan, cruelty-free and biodegradable. This means it won’t cause harm to the oceans once it is rinsed off of your face.
They stand by the belief that if they start being sustainable now, it will have a big impact on the industry in the future. One of their main goals is to combine high-performance and innovative natural ingredients, such as superfood for the healthy touch, with modern scientific research.
It is a popular skincare brand, beloved by many, and their products won a lot of beauty awards. Their most popular product is the Superfood Cleanser.

Youth To The People Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream
The Adaptogen Moisture Cream by Youth To The People is a hydrating moisturizer with superior plant extracts. The cream also has a pro-grade peptide complex formulated for dry, reactive and sensitive skin.
This fragrance-free formula is made with an intelligent hydration trio of squalane, jojoba and shea butter for long-lasting deep hydration that won’t clog pores. The cream costs $58 for 2 ounces as well and it was made for those with dry skin.
Youth To The People normally incorporates many ingredients that come from foods in their products. The Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream is a great example of that. This product is also vegan, cruelty-free and comes in recyclable packaging. It helps get rid of any dryness, fine lines and wrinkles and redness.
The use of adaptogens as medicine, taken internally and applied topically, has been championed by Eastern medicine and Ayurveda for 5,000 years. This cream is filled with different types of adaptogens.
Adaptogens includes many herbs, mushrooms, berries, roots, and spices that are used to increase the body’s ability to manage stress. They would help the body to “adapt” to these stress attacks by regulating cortisol (one of the stress hormones) and to balance the stress response system to improve mood, stimulate immunity, reduce fatigue, among other benefits.
When it comes to beauty products, adaptogens are mainly used for their antioxidant properties by helping the skin when protecting it from environmental stress. In this particular product, there is an adaptogenic extract blend that helps the skin cope with dryness, irritation, redness and fine lines and wrinkles.
Fermented Reishi is a mushroom and one adaptogen ingredient filled with antioxidants. It works to hydrate, detoxify and combat premature signs of aging. A unique fermented reishi extract is in the cream for its deep hydrating properties. It also helps boost immune defenses.
Some other adaptogen ingredients in the cream are ashwagandha and turmeric which are anti-inflammatory. Ashwagandha is a powerful adaptogenic root full of protective antioxidants and amino acids to reduce visible signs of fatigue. Ginseng is another, which is a powerful antioxidant with anti-aging properties. Aloe vera is present as well, known for its moisturizing properties.
Calming peptide is an additional ingredient in this cream to keep the skin’s response to environmental stress in check. Squalane is also there to mimic the skin’s natural oils to boost skin hydration without clogging pores.
I don’t have anything bad to say about the Youth To The People Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream, it is an amazing product. It has a whipped texture to it and it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin.
I have oily skin, even though the product is for those with dry skin, but it easily sinks into my skin and doesn’t make my skin look like it has more oil. It seems to be very absorbent and quickly melts into the skin.
It’s best to use the product at night, I believe, because of the nourishing and soothing effect it has. Dry skin types will benefit from this product even more if they use it in the morning and night. I use it every day, in my morning and nighttime skincare routine since that’s just what I prefer.
The cream is great to use especially during the winter season. During this season, some spots on my skin tend to get dry and it has really been helping me avoid that.
I believe the formula for this cream has a balanced effect since there are many good ingredients to moisturize and hydrate and then there are antioxidants.
I also find that a little bit of this product goes a long way so it has been lasting me a while now. I’ve had it for about two months and still have half of the jar left.
The price sounds high at $58 but the product contains many high-quality ingredients and comes in a glass jar, making it worth the price. There is a mini version as well at $18 if you want to try a small amount of the product first.
